Chemical Technology - Lecturer : 9 posts, Technician : 3 posts
CSE - Lecturer : 15 posts, Technician : 4 posts
ECE - Lecturer : 7 posts, Technician : 1 post
EIE - Lecturer : 5 posts
FET - Lecturer : 1 post
Mech. Engg. - Lecturer : 11 posts, Technician : 6 post
English - Lecturer : 1 post

Consolidated Salary : Lecturer : Rs.19680/- per month, Technician - Rs.13860/- per month.

Qualification :

Lecturer in Engineering/ Technology : 1st class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology together with a First Class Bachelor's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology (OR) First Class Bachelor's degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent, valid GATE score, minimum 75 percentile.
Lecturer in Humanities and Science : Ph.D. Degree in the appropriate branch of Humanities and Science (OR) Good academic record with 1st Class M.Sc. level or MA level with NET or similar exam accredited by the UGC.

Technician in Engineering/Technology : Diploma in relevant trade with one year's industrial/professional experience after acquiring the minimum qualification. OR Certificate in relevant trade from an ITI and 4 years professional/industrial experience.

Technician in Science : B.Sc. 2nd class in appropriate branch of Science with 2 years experience in relevant trade Lab.

The interested candidates should come for interview in the Committee Room, Administrative Block, SLIET, Longowal on 29/07/2009 at 9.00 am for the posts from Sl. 1 to5 and on 30/07/2009 at 9.00 am for the posts no. 6 to 10. They should bring complete bio-data along with attested copies of their certificates in support of their educational/ professional qualifications.
