IIT Kanpur, is looking for suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following posts:
1 Deputy Registrar - 2 PB-3:Rs.15600-39100
2 Assistant Registrar - 2 PB-3:Rs.15600-39100
3 Medical Officer - 1 PB-3:Rs.15600-39100
4 Junior Superintendent - 4 PB-2:Rs.9300-34800
5 Junior Assistant - 4 PB-1:Rs.5200-20200
Mode of selection: For the posts of Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar and Medical Officer on regular basis, or on Standard deputation terms, and for all other posts – on contract basis for five years
Age: For Group-B Post (Sl. No. 04 ) – 18 to 32 years and for Group-C Post (Sl. No. 05) – 18 to 27 years. The age will be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per Central Government Rules. Regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified and otherwise eligible can be considered for the recruitment across the whole IIT system up to a maximum of 50 years of age.
