Tata Memorial Centre, comprising of ACTREC & Tata Memorial Hospital is an Autonomous Grant-in-aid Institute under Dept. of Atomic Energy. It is a comprehensive cancer centre with a mission to achieve the best standards in service, education and research. ACTREC is an exclusive basic, translational and clinical research centre which was established in 2002 in a beautiful 60 acre campus in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Kharghar is now well developed with good civic amenities, excellent schools and affordable housing. The 60 bedded Clinical Research Centre at ACTREC has a very active BMT Programme; state-of-the-art diagnostic and molecular pathology labs (with NABL accreditation); diagnostic radiology (with 3 Tesla MRI) and therapeutic facilities for Surgery, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. The medical faculty works in a seamless manner at ACTREC and TMH campus. Applications are invited for the following positions:

Scientific Asst. ‘B’ - 1 Post (Clinical Pharmacology)
Scientific Assistant ‘B’ - 1 Post (Molecular Pathology)
Genetic Counselor - 1 Post
OT/ICU Technician - 1 Post
Assistant Medical Social Worker - 1 Post
Technician ‘A’ (CSSD) - 1 Post
Sanitary Supervisor - 1 Post

Age - (to be determined on 1.7.09) would be relaxed by 5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 yrs for OBC and as per rules for PWD/Ex-Servicemen. Age relaxation may be considered for departmental candidates or exceptional merit & qualifications wherever applicable.

Fee - Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of ACTREC (TMC) payable at Navi Mumbai. SC/ST/Persons with disabilities and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.

How to Apply - Application in the prescribed format along with a recent passport size photograph with attested copies of certificates and a non-refundable demand draft / banker’s cheque of Rs 100 (SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen exempted) should be sent to “Senior Administrative Officer, ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Sector – 22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai-410210” so as to reach on or before 25th September 2009. Persons working in Central / State Government / Other Public Sector Undertakings should submit their applications through proper channel. Candidates belonging to reserved category should enclose an attested copy of scheduled Caste / Tribe /OBC / PWD / Ex-Servicemen. The certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format in support of their claim of reservation failing which their applications will not be entertained.
