The ICFRE, an Autonomous Body of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, invites applications from the eligible officers under Central/State/Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory organizations for filling up 09 (Nine) posts of Forest Range Officer likely to fall vacant in near future in the Revised Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300-34,800 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- by transfer on deputation in ICFRE and nstitutes/Centres
under it.

Eligibility Persons holding the post of Forest Range Officer with 3 years experience or Dy. Ranger with 5 years experience in the State Forest Departments.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-
1. Applications with complete bio-data of the candidate should be submitted to the Secretary, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, P.O. New Forest, Dehradun together with a Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Secretary, ICFRE on or before 30/09/2009. The closing date of receipt of application from officers residing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshdweep will be 15.10.2009. Applications received without signature of the applicant or which are not accompanied by the prescribed fee shall be summarily rejected.
2. The Council will in no case be responsible for non-receipt of applications or any delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever. No application received after the prescribed last date will be entertained under any circumstances and all the late applications will be summarily rejected.
3. The application should be routed through proper channel. The concerned Department/Organization should enclose vigilance clearance report and photocopies of ACRs of the officer for the last five years from 2004-05 to 2008-09 while forwarding the applications of the candidates. However, an advance copy can be submitted along with Demand Draft.
4. The deputation period would initially be for a period of three years or till superannuation whichever is earlier as per rules.
5. The Council reserves the right to relax the qualification/experience in case of exceptionally qualified and meritorious candidates.
6. The Council reserves the right not to fill up any of the vacancy advertised if the circumstances so warrant.
