SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWD)-2009

Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine/IIIM, Jammu, is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

The Director, IIIM, Jammu invites applications for the following posts in the prescribed application form from the young & Dynamic Indian Persons with Disabilities (PWD) who have the excellent academic record & experience in the given areas as per details mentioned below :-

Scientist ‘B’ Group IV(1) - Chemistry

Age limit: 35 years, Pay Band - Rs.15600-39100/

Qualification - 1st class M. Sc or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Bio-organicChemistry /Analytical Chemistry/ Natural Product Chemistry/ Chemistry
Experience in relevant area having published work in highly reputed journals.

2. Scientist B, Gr. IV(1) - Botany/ Plant Sciences/Life Sciences

Age Limit 35, Pay Band - Rs.15600-39100/

Qualification - 1st class M. Sc or equivalent qualifications or Ph. D. in Botany/ Plant Sciences/Life Sciences/Plant Biotechnology /Biochemistry Ph. D with experience in functional genomics, metabolic Engineering etc. as evidence by the publications.

3. Technical Officer-A Gr.III(3) - Library Sciences

Age Limit 30 yrs, Pay Band - Rs.9300-34800/

Qualification - 1st Class B. Lib. Sci. or equivalent with 05years experience OR M. Lib. Sci. or equivalent with minimum of 55% Marks having at least 03 years experience in the relevant field in any reputed organization. · Knowledge of Library Management Softwares, Document Management Softwares etc.

4. Technical Asstt. - Chemistry/ Computer Sciences

Age Limit 28 yrs. Pay Band - Rs.9300-34800/

Qualification - 1st Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as a subject OR B.E.( Electronics /Computer Sciences) OR 1st Class BCA Relevant experience in analytical laboratory and operation of various analytical equipments OR M. Sc. with 1-2 years experience in analytical laboratory and operation of various analytical equipments To assist scientist in operation of various equipments like LC-MS/MS; GC-MS/MS; HPLC;GC etc.

6. Technician ( Machine Tools), Group II(1) - Instrumentation /Lab Services

Age Limit 28 yrs. Pay Band - 5200-20200/

Qualification - SSC/10th Standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in relevant trade or SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate Handling, operation & repairing of sophisticated lab. equipments e.g. LC, NMR,MS,GCMS etc. in a scientific Instt. /Industry

To repair/ overhaul tools, equipments, to render help to the users in operation of various equipments and to assist the Scientists in conducting various experiments in Labs.

7. Jr. Stenographer - 2 Posts

Age Limit: 28 years 5200-20200/

Qualification - 10+2/XII or its equivalent with a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English/Hindi Shorthand and 40/35 w.p.m. in English/Hindi typing Knowledge of Computer Operations, & Working Knowledge of Computers, preferably MS Office
Candidates are required to do clerical and typing/ secretarial jobs.
