Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an Institute of National importance, is looking for a suitable persons for the following positions :

1. DEPUTY REGISTRAR : 2 Posts (1 reserved for OBC and 1 Unreserved)

Qualification & Experience :
1. Post-graduate degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade
2. 8 years experience as Assistant Registrar or in a post carrying pay in PB-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs. 5400/-
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and other institution of higher learning
OR
8 years experience as a Lecturer in a college or a University with experience in educational administration.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000-420-18300 (to be revised) (Total emoluments on the minimum of the Pay Scale is approx. Rs. 29,520/- excluding HRA)

Age limit : Preferably below 50 years.

2. ASSISTANT WORKSHOP SUPERINTENDENT -1 Post (Unreserved) :

Qualification & Experience : A Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in Industry, Workshop, etc.

Job description : Assistant Workshop Superintendent is required to assist in conduction of classes related to Workshop practices and UG/PG Workshop training, Management of different sections of the Workshop/personnel, responsibility of Operation and Maintenance of equipment, Procurement of Materials, etc.

Pay Band : [PB-2] Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs. 5400 (Grade pay) (Total emoluments on the minimum of the Pay Band is approx. Rs. 21800 excluding HRA)

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years.

3. PHYSICIAN - 1 Post (On contract) :

Qualification & Experience : M.B.B.S., M.D. (Medicine) with 3 years clinical experience.

Salary : Rs. 45,000/- p.m. (consolidated) with family accommodation on campus

Age limit : Maximum 40 years.

4. MEDICAL OFFICER - 1 Post (Temporary Full Time) :

Qualification & Experience : M.B.B.S. from recognized university with one year clinical experience.

Salary : Rs. 19,000/- p.m. (consolidated) (To be revised) with family accommodation on campus

Age limit : Maximum 40 years.

Candidates other than those belonging to SC/ST communities must send a Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Mumbai, in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay alongwith the application (except for the posts at Sr. No. 3 and 4)
