Applications are invited upto 31st August, 2009 for the post of Scientist ‘E’ in the Pay Band-4 of Rs.37400-67000+8700 (Grade Pay) for
Scientist “E” : (Two Posts):
Post No.1: Qualification & Experience:
Essential: (i) MBBS Degree recognized by MCI (ii) Ten years research/teaching experience from a reputed institute in Pathology/ Microbiology/PSM/Medicine.
Desirable: (i) MD in Pathology/Microbiology/PSM/ Medicine. (ii) Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed reputed journals. (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job Requirements:- To assist the Head of the Institute/Centre in research both in intramural and extramural works and in administrative works etc.
Post No.2 : Qualification & Experience:
Essential: (i) First class Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Genetics from a recognized University or second class Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Genetics with Ph.D. degree from a recognized University (ii) Ten years research/teaching experience in the relevant areas.
Desirable: (i) Ph.D Degree in relevant areas (ii) Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in above subjects. (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job Requirements:- To assist the Head of the Institute/Centre in research both in intramural and extramural works and in administrative works etc.
Age Limit : Preferably below 50 years. Relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard.
