Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine/IIIM, Jammu, is a premier R&D Institute under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. The Director, IIIM, Jammu invites applications for the following posts at IIIM ( Br.) Lab Srinagar in the prescribed application form from the Indian nationals who have the excellent academic record & experience in the given areas as per details under :
1. Scientist E-II Gr. IV(4) - Life Sciences, Age Limit :45 years, Rs. 37400-67000 (PB-4) with Grade Pay Rs.8700, Qualification - 1st Class M. Sc in Life Sciences or equivalent qualification with 10 years experience or 07 years experience after Ph. D. in the relevant area evidenced by high quality publications
2.Scientist E-I Gr. IV(3) - Life Sciences, Age Limit 40 yrs, Rs.15600-39100/(PB-3) with Grade pay Rs. 7600/, Qualification - 1st Class M. Sc in /Life Sciences with 7 years experience or 4 yrs. experience after Ph. D. in the relevant area evidenced by high quality publications.
3 Scientist C Gr. IV(2) - Organic Chemistry /Analytical Chemistry, Age Limit 35 yrs ,
Rs.15600-39100/ (PB-3)with Grade pay Rs. 6600/-, Qualification - 1st Class M. Sc or equivalent in Organic Chemistry/analytical Chemistry with 03 years experience in the relevant area OR Ph. D with 01 year experience in the relevant area.
4 Scientist ‘B’ Group IV(1) - One Post reserved for Persons with disabilities-(PWD)-Hearing Handicapped (HH), Age limit: 35 years, Pay Band- Rs.15600-39100/ (PB-3)with Grade pay Rs. 5400/, Qualification - 1st class M. Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology /BioSciences/Botanical Sciences or Ph. D.
5 Scientist ‘B’ Group IV(1) - One Post reserved for OBC, Age limit: 35 , Pay Band - Rs.15600-39100/ (PB-3)with Grade pay Rs. 5400/, Qualification - 1st class M. Sc. or Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry OR M. Pharma ( 1st class)
Interested candidates fulfilling the above conditions may apply in the prescribed proforma which can be downloaded from IIIM website www.iiim.res.in/www.rrljamm.org , against application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft payable at Jammu in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine , Jammu, ( US $ 25 in case of candidates applying from abroad ).
However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories or Council employees are exempted from payment of fee. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to submit an attested copy of caste /PWD disability certificate while requesting for application form.
Separate application forms should be submitted for each post for candidates who wish to apply for more than one post.
Completed applications in all respects, supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience certificates, caste certificate, PWD certificate issued by the competent authority (in the case of SC/ST/OBC, etc.) along with one recent passport size photo affixed(duly signed on the photo) , together with an application fee as stated above may be sent in an envelope mentioning “Application for the post of (__________________), Post Code(____________) “to the Director, Indian institute of Integrative Medicine , Canal Road, Jammu (Tawi) -180001 so as to reach on or before 30.09. 2009 .
Applications received after the last date are liable to be rejected. The upper age limit will be reckoned as on 30.09. 2009 which is relaxable as per Govt. orders in force from time to time in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates and Council servants. Relaxation of upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J& K during the period of 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of a certificate [ certificate must be attached with the application ] from the District Magistrate in whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily resided OR from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of J & K State. Number of posts in particular area may increase or decrease at the time of selection.
