As per detail given below the eligible candidates are invited to appear before the
Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview for the position of Skilled Labour/Supporting Staff/Highly Skilled Worker in the various National Agricultural Innovation Projects (NAIP) at NDRI, Karnal.

1. Skilled Labour - 2Nos.
Characterisation and Differentitation of Embryonic and Spermatogonial Stem cells in cattle and Buffaloes.
Duration: Upto 31st March, 2012
Rs.3500/- PM Consolidated

Job Description - Cleaning, Trimming, Washing of ovaries/Biological materials, Glassware/plastic ware, Collection of fetus from Delhi Slaughterhouse, Blood Collection from large and small animals, Maintenance & handling of small/large animals and any other work assigned time to
time.
2. Skilled Labour - 4 Nos.
Value Chain of zona free cloned Embryo for quality animal production from elite Buffaloes and
Pashmina Goats.
Duration: Till 31st March, 2012
Rs.4000/- p.m. Consolidated
Place Time and Date of the interview 17-08-2009 At 11.00AM Cattle Yard
Watch & Ward, management of animals, cleaning & feeding of research animals as per
requirement and any other work assigned time to time.
3.Supporting Staff - 1 & Skilled Labour - 4
Development of Wireless Sensor Network for Animal Management.
Duration: Till 31st March, 2012
Rs.7000/- PM & Rs.4000/- PM

Support Staff : Daily data entry in the Herdman Software of 1200 large animal’s data generated daily in the Cattle Yard/AB Complex. Audio and Video recording of behavior in the computer and some survey work in the field conditions.
Skilled Labour: Assisting 24 hours heat detection, everyday brining animals to AI Lab for rectal palpation in the morning & evening hours, collection of blood and milk samples and any other work assigned time to time.
4. Skilled Labour - 4
Molecular basis of capacitation like changes in the assessment and prevention of cryodamage during
Rs.4400/- PM

Watch and Ward /maintenance of animals, sample collection, delivery work etc. Work in Lab/Office/field and any other work assigned time to time. cryopreservation of bovine spermatozoa (Buffalo and Crossbred Bulls).

5.Highly Skilled Worker - 1
Impact Adaptation and vulnerability of Indian agriculture to climate change
Duration : For 2009-2012
Rs. 5000/- p.m consolidated

Survey Work, analysis of data on livestock farms, animal etc. and any other work assigned time to
time.
Age Limit: 30 Years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per ICAR rules)
Qualification:
i) Skilled Labour:- Intermediate or Higher Secondary (+2) with science and at least IInd
Division
ii)Supporting Staff: B.Com/B.Sc./B.Sc.(Ag.)/B.V.Sc.&AH with evidence of computer
knowledge in data entry /M.S.office software.
iii) Highly Skilled Worker: B.Sc./B.Sc. in computer/BCA with 2 year experience in data
analysis.
Other Terms & Conditions: The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled up
purely on contractual basis. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular
appointment at this Institute as the positions are liable to co-terminus with the Project/Scheme.
